Pair of Early 20th Century Club Armchairs in Liberty Fabric

£330.00
sold out

A very stylish matching pair of club armchairs from the early 20th century. They have heavy wood frames with sprung seats and feather filled cushions. Both chairs are on castors.

They are upholstered in an unusual waxed cotton which gives them a subtle sheen. It also makes them easy to wipe clean!

The fabric is by Liberty and the design is Mildenhall, they were likely reupholstered in the late 80s. We have another chair from the same house which is upholstered in the same fabric but is of a very different design (see other listings).

The chairs are in generally good condition. The seat bases are firm and comfortable, the cushions very plump. The most notable area of wear is a small darned area on one corner of one of the chairs (see photos).
