A delicately painted interior scene in watercolours by Glenys Forster Wess. The scene includes a very enticing vintage green armchair with albums placed on a table in front.

Glenys successfully exhibited her work in the 1960s-1990s, including an exhibition focussed on interiors, which is likely what this painting was intended for- it has an exhibition number stuck on the outside of the glass.

Her husband James was also a known artist, sculptor and teacher. There is little information readily available online about Glenys, but she spent much of her life in West Yorkshire.
