Original c.1960s-1970s lino print by artist James Henry Wess. Wess was born in Liverpool in 1933. He attended Liverpool College of Art, his first solo exhibition was at The Manor House, Ilkley.

He was primarily a sculptor but painted continuously throughout his life. Many of his early work is heavily driven by his interest in sculpture and ceramic design.

This is one of four lino prints of the same fish shape, each one in slightly different colours and textures. It’s printed onto light paper and mounted onto thicker paper.

Measures 27cm x 22cm not including border.
