This late Victorian high-quality sofa has a very deep-sprung seat, so even though it’s only a two seater, its large proportions make it both comfortable and the epitome of country house style.

The drop arm is in good working order and can be adjusted to different heights. Please note the drop arm is slightly larger and more cushioned than the other arm due to the mechanism hidden within the upholstery.

It has been later re-upholstered in a thick daisy patterned damask fabric in a light denim blue colour. It has been lightly cleaned, there are only a few small very faint marks on the seat.
