c.1910. A traditional Persian rug from the Heris area in Northwest Iran. Heriz carpets are known for their durability and can last generations.

The base colour is a dark blue with a terracotta field and border.

The rug has wear and some damage to the edging in one area, but it’s generally in very fair condition for it’s age.
